Editor’s Note: Issue 3 Print Correction
In Issue #3 – Community & Culture, there is a correction for the article The Life and Death of Con Artist: Birth of the Bowery Union. The author, T.K. Mills, noted that the artist Boris Bernard quit Con Artist. However, the artist has reached out to note this is not an accurate portrayal. Rather, after assisting the Con Artist team move to the new headquarters on Broome Street, Brad asked Boris to “take a break from being at the gallery.”
As writers we understand the power of words, and the necessity of using precise language. We apologize to Boris for the inaccurate terminology. As journalists, we do our best to report our stories accurately and to own up to our mistakes, even when covering complex narratives with a multitude of differing perspectives.
