Photographer
Jaime Marrero is an evolving visual artist and street photographer understanding, adapting, and creating in the ever-changing world around him. Born in the Bronx New York, this Puerto Rican artist’s world changed after moving upstate; as his influences from comic book and street art grew to fine art, surrealism and graphic art. The cultural change from city life to suburban also influenced his language, using the contrast of nature, mountains and the serene versus buildings, concrete and chaos. Living away from the life he knew contributed to subject matter involving isolation, exploration, distance, communication and dreams as an influence.
