Palomosa Announces an Eclectic Lineup to Kick Off the 2026 Festival Season!
As Montréal gears up for the summer season and the city’s energy starts flowing again, Palomosa is coming in strong, front and centre, to open the outdoor season with a lineup set to turn the city upside down. This year, Palomosa shifts tempo and lands in May for three days of high-intensity celebration, from May 14 to 16, at Parc Jean-Drapeau. More than a festival, it’s a playground for today’s scenes: rap, hyperpop, live performances, and a connected crowd ready to give it everything.
On stage, Palomosa doubles down on its signature: boldly experimental, 100% digital, and at the forefront of musical innovation. On the bill: MGMT (DJ set), fakemink, Xaviersobased, Sofia Stel, POiSON GiRL FRiEND, DJ Smokey, Kinji00… and more to be revealed. Palomosa is the official signal that summer has arrived, playlists are blowing up, and the dance floor is back where it belongs.
🧨 A 2026 lineup set to flood your feeds
Palomosa brings Internet culture into the physical world: music trends, digital aesthetics, online communities, and local scenes collide in one space. The festival acts as a bridge between cult artists and emerging talent, between radical discoveries and collective moments of connection. Here, we move from feed to field, from streaming to dance floor, from scroll to real life.
THURSDAY, MAY 14 — OPENING BLOCK PARTY — X-Coast Deejay Academy
The festival kicks off strong with an open-air block party. X-Coast brings his Deejay Academy crew, where rebellious students break free from detention to get the crowd moving from the very first beat. Pals can expect hard-hitting, no-compromise performances from Tommy Holohan, a blazing force in European techno; Chippy Nonstop, Toronto’s true chaos instigator; and new-wave rave frontrunner X-Coast himself. An explosive opening is promised — designed to launch Palomosa 2026 with unstoppable energy.
FRIDAY, MAY 15 — 2X the Fun
Palomosa opens both its stages and drops Montréal straight into the heart of electronic and experimental energy. On the FIZZ Stage, cult duo MGMT will deliver a rare and immersive DJ set, revisiting their classics while diving into their electronic, psychedelic, and club influences for a one-of-a-kind sonic journey. The stage will also feature Xaviersobased, an Internet underground figure bringing his experimental rap and DIY hyperpop to life, as well as POiSON GiRL FRiEND, a pioneer of alternative J-pop and lo-fi electronic with a boundless aura. Local artists will shine just as brightly: Sofia Stel will deliver hybrid sets blending bass, techno, and percussive rhythms, while Ouri moves fluidly between electronic pop, experimental R&B, and introspective textures.
Over on the Banque Nationale Stage, the intensity will be just as palpable. Internet pop star Hannah Diamond joins the festival with her hyper-connected, emotionally charged aesthetic, true to her work with the PC Music label, for an exclusive DJ set. She’ll be joined by Doss, whose euphoric and colourful sets immerse audiences in an introspective energy, as well as emerging project yaego, positioned at the intersection of alternative dance and Web culture. Finally, Canadian producer CFCF rounds out the lineup with his ambient soundscapes and melodic house, creating suspended, unforgettable moments.
SATURDAY, MAY 16 — The Grand Finale!
As Palomosa reaches its peak, the final day promises maximum intensity.
On the FIZZ Stage, fakemink — a cult figure of the digital underground shaped by SoundCloud and post-Internet communities — brings his abrasive, forward-thinking universe, pushing the limits of sonic experimentation. Thaiboi Digital, member of Drain Gang and an international force in cloud rap and experimental electronic music, will unleash his innovative beats and hypnotic flow. Lucy Bedroque will explore the boundaries between performance, sound, and digital identity, while ear and Québec’s breakout artist Kinji00 round out the stage with their post-Internet and alternative worlds — blending abrasive textures with irresistible grooves.
On the Banque Nationale Stage, hyper-connected, deconstructed pop takes centre stage. Dylan Brady, one half of iconic duo 100 gecs, delivers an immersive performance fusing hyperpop, bass music, and sonic experimentation. DJ Smokey brings his raw, lo-fi edge, navigating between phonk and deconstructed trap. Now recognized as one of the most influential architects of the alternative electronic scene, he is nominated at the 2026 Grammy Awards alongside Skrillex for the surprise album F— U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3. Umru will also take part. A respected name in today’s experimental pop landscape, he unfolds a universe that shifts between bass-heavy energy and infectious melodies. Montréal’s boundless creativity, embodied by Cannelle, completes the day — delivering unforgettable moments that are unmistakably Palomosa.
