Allentown Art Jam – Brightening Up The Path in the Queen City
The third biggest city in Pennsylvania after Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, within the past few years Allentown has stepped up its public street art scene with dozens of new vibrant and empowering murals gracing walls throughout the downtown Hamilton District. Produced in conjunction with Dripped On Productions and Allentown Mural Arts, the Art Jam consisted of 17 international and local artists.

¡Hola Utopia! 2023
Hannover is not a city known for its bustling street art scene. As Germany’s 13th largest city with a population of just over 500,000, Hannover is undoubtedly understated. What might surprise many is that Hannover has been home to a mural festival called ¡Hola Utopia! for the past four years. The event hosts graffiti workshops to help locals get familiar with street art, encouraging Hannoverians to interact with their city and share ideas about improving its future.

Since its inception in 2006, the Ibug urban art festival has been held every summer within a distinct abandoned industrial building in Saxony, Germany. This year, the festival took over Leipzig’s former yard and train repair factory, known as RAW, nestled within the Engelsdorf district.

Press Release: Hola Utopia! 2023 – Wabi Sabi
Suiko 1, Anna Taratiel, Mujer Gitana, Bier En Brood and Kartel are the artists confirmed to take part in the Hola Utopia! 2023 festival, which will take place on 28th August – 3rd September in Hannover, Germany. As well as adding several new urban art murals to the city, the fourth edition of the festival will once again include an indoor exhibition, a documentary projection and a party to socialise and showcase the audio expertise of the Hola Utopia! artists.

Wide Open Walls: 2023
Wide Open Walls mural festival is returning with a new approach for their eighth consecutive edition. After painting California’s capitol city with 200 murals, they’re further enriching Sacramento’s landscape by enlivening local schools with artworks. In 2023 alone, Wide Open Walls has painted eight schools, sometimes near entirely, inside and outside alike, depending on each building’s architecture. Their latest work at Rosa Parks Elementary concluded May 22.
