You stand on the platform, and a train pulls up; its doors and windows are completely covered with paint, the city skyline barely visible through the haze of color. The importance of getting up becomes more apparent when you realize that the pieces are best appreciated from a distance, not up close, as in a museum. But seeing these full-car pieces, or any throw-ups on trains, in the wild can be rare – you have to know where to look and when. This is precisely what BAMN is about: a personal passion project of a trainspotting photographer, engineer, and artist.
