At Ginsberg Galeria in Lima, Peruvian artist María Abaddon mixes the creepy, cute, and weird to start a larger conversation about how human beings relate to the world around them–and paint some gore along the way. UP sat down with him and curator Óscar Manrique to talk about how his art plays with perception, medium, and material to provoke a deeper experience.
