While not an artist herself, pioneering photographer Martha Cooper, played a pivotal role in the development of graffiti culture through her work documenting the early days, most notably in “Subway Art.” At 80 years old, she maintains an active calendar, but still made time to sit down with UP to discuss as her ongoing projects and legacy in the urban art world.
