Zagreb Street Art Festival 2024

The second edition of the Zagreb Street Art Festival was held at the end of last month in the Garden club – Pri Nami on Zakmardi steps in the very center of Zagreb, Capital of Croatia.

At the festival, pasteups and stickers from almost 250 artists from 44 countries were presented on boardwalls and numerous frames. During the 4 days of the festival you could meet guest artists from Italy (Aldam), France (RNST), Serbia (HLNKS and Tea.Yuo), Denmark (Prwnd), Hungary (0036mark), Sweden (Terp) as well as the local artist Modul from Croatia. All of them decorated the festival area by painting live in front of the guests.

Along with the invited artists, a panel discussion was held with the legends of the domestic Hip Hop and graffiti scene, Slavin Balen and Renato Đošić, and a pop-up exhibition of graffiti photos by Budapest photographer Judit Bernadett Borbely was also set up.

At the festival, pasteups and stickers from almost 250 artists from 44 countries were presented on boardwalls and numerous frames.

The daily touristic Street Art walks through the streets of Zagreb were led by LEON GSK. For nightshif program were covered by DJ Madrina, DJ Phat Phillie and DJ Lunar and the Break Dance performance of the Megablast group completed the music/dance part of this year’s festival.

For all interested future artists, a workshop on making Pasteups, which we have not had the opportunity to see in Zagreb until now, was held by a guest artist from Denmark –  PRWND.

On the last day of the festival, the first documentary film about the Sticker scene – Sticker Movie (@stickermovie) was shown, and this year’s second edition of the Zagreb Street Art Festival, which profiled itself as one of the most important street art festivals of its type in a region, was completely rounded off.

A workshop on making Pasteups, which we have not had the opportunity to see in Zagreb until now, was held by a guest artist from Denmark –  PRWND.

As the festival is completely free of charge, there was no lack of audience at the festival and we managed to meet guests who came to this unique urban event from other cities in Croatia as well as London, Dublin, Budapest and Ljubljana.
